Distribution of Addresses 1 - 99 (Unit Block)

The above graph shows the quantity of addresses between 1 to 99 within Washington, DC. The above graph shows the distribution of address along the unit block which is the block where addresses are from 1 - 99. The vast majority of these addresses are next to the 'Capital Streets' which are North Capital Street, South Capital Street and East Capitol Street. Some of the alley streets and the circles (such as Dupont Circle) are addressed as unit blocks.

In the graph to the right, I have illustrated with comments some of the more interesting elements of the graph. These interesting elements include Triskaidekaphobia (the fear of the number 13), the desire for the addresses with the number 50, and the strong downward trend from around 25 to 99. For example Union Station has the address 50 Massachusetts Avenue NE.
